Tasty brews and tours. The best seem to be the ones that are little on the hoppy side. The flights are the way to go to experience the beers.

My quest to visit every microbrewery in Florida brought me to Swamp Head on June 16. It’s sort of out of the way but well worth it when you find it. Outside there is ample parking in a spacious parking lot. Inside you’ll be greeted by a large and lively group of craft beer lovers. Swamp Head is very dog friendly giving it an st home feel like your own dog is chilled out in the family room with you

Swamp Head offers a dizzying selection of beers including Loggerhead Lager. The brewery donates $1.00 from each pour of Loggerhead to a sea turtle conservation organization. When I learned that, Swamp Head became my new most favorite microbrewery in Florida.

If you’re in Gainesville you simply MUST visit this excellent brewery. If you care about the environment and especially sea turtles then belly up to the bar and patronize this place

One word of caution however. Don’t wear your Florida State Seminoles shirt when you go here. For some reason everyone stares at you when you do

Swamp head is a must visit in the Gainesville area. It is a little difficult to locate the first time but well worth it. They have a very extensive selection of craft brews and all are excellent- there’s something for everyone. The atmosphere inside is very upbeat and fun and everyone there is knowledgeable and helpful about the choices. Not to miss!

Great place for a beer! A very nice, comfortable Taproom with a huge selection. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Easy access from I 75 so there is no excuse for not stopping when you are traveling on I 75. I support all local breweries and I recommend that you stop by here.

We went here to sample some of their beer and were not disappointed! Good selection, also of cans and bottles to bring home. The food truck outside was nice as well. Only drawback was the location far from the city.
