First, the positive items: There was a full breakfast, and tea bags were available. And there was an excellent and helpful African American serving at the desk one day. On the other side, the drain in our sink needed to be fixed, the water pressure was low, there were not enough towels, there was no decaf available and hot water was rarely available at the front, rugs were dingy, and the entire hotel badly needs refurbishment. Also, there are no recycling cans in the hotel.

Room tip: If you want to see the ocean, ask for a second-floor room.

The hotel was clean and convenient. Denise made our check in seamless . We had added an extra night to our original reservation about a week after we made the reservation, and the same room style was no longer available. Denise was able to arrange for us to stay in the same room for the duration of our stay which was very convenient. The hotel was completely booked at the time of our visit, but was never noisy. Great location.

This hotel lacks so much and has becoming completely run-down. Because housekeeping isn’t going into rooms, the hallway was lined with trash throughout the stay from guests cleaning their own rooms. The carpet was soiled because of trash being left there. It stunk, it was dirty, and the rooms need a full overhaul. Our bathroom door had wood splintering up the entire back side and the door wouldn’t lock because the wood was splintering there as well. Towels were impossible to get, because again, housekeeping wasn’t replenishing them and people were hoarding them in the rooms. It’s very unfortunate how run down this Hilton is.

The hotel location is great. Right on the beach. The hotel itself desperately needs an upgrade. The shower to rinse off from the beach access is in need of replacing and does nothing to rinse you off. The room was only half cleaned. There was a blood stain on the sheet for one of the beds and a dirty foot print on the edge of the tub. The rest of the shower looked like it has only been half cleaned.

The hotel was dirty. The room was dirty. The bathroom was dirty. The air conditioning did not work. It was an awful experience. No cleaning service while we were there. It was the worst experience that we ever had at a Hilton property.
