We stayed here for two nights 10/5 & 10/6 and were pleasantly surprised at how first class the accommodations were. Our cabin, C-11, was right off the parking area near the massive Clubhouse and near the Ranger station. We actually parked our car at the back door entrance. We entered the large screened in porch with the individual grill and picnic table just outside. Then entered the open concept living, dining and kitchen area. We were struck by the beautiful wood paneling throughout. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the things needed. There was a full size stove-oven, refrigerator with ice trays, a microwave, coffee maker, even filters. All you need to bring is your food, beverages and favorite coffee grounds. The floors outside the kitchen are carpeted. A flat screen TV was hooked to a cable box with access to hundreds of channels. There were two bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and the other two twins. There are ceiling fans throughout and the central air conditioning/heating system was perfect. Between the bedrooms was the immaculately equipped, tiled and stocked bathroom. All you need here is shampoo/conditioner and personal care items like a toothbrush and paste. Everything else is already there, soap, towels, washcloths, etc. All of the comforts of home.

We were hoping for a nature get-away, during Covid, with social distancing - which we got. Tubing on the river from the State Park site was awesome. Our cabin was disappointing; smelled like old cigarettes and mildew. Furniture and bedding were not comfortable. View from the porch was of other cabins, not the river. I probably didn't research this venue enough, but the pictures offered on the website are NOT of the cabin we stayed in. Buyer beware.

First time visiting the area and wanted to experience all of the outdoor recreation with our two dogs. We came across this place on a hike on Dunnellon Trail and booked it for the next week. It was EVERYTHING we wanted! Easy access to trails, great location for our boat rental and day on the water, and a perfect screened in porch just made for relaxing after the day’s treks! The outdoor grills could use some attention but the full kitchen allowed for us to make all our own meals (be prepared to bring/buy some items like pot holders, additional dish towels, baking sheets, strainer etc). Several areas with picnic tables, private riverwalks and docks to explore (though most seemed like they hadn’t been maintained/updated in awhile). During the week was fairly unoccupied and tho we had limited interaction with staff, everyone was so kind! At times traveling with dogs can be a bit difficult, but this place made it quite easy! We would definitely recommend and are already looking forward to a return trip!

We stayed in one of the 6 villas, The screen door was broken and we couldn't sit on the porch because of mosquitos and 2 hornets, there was no lock on sliding glass door, had to use a piece of wood to secure it, the TV was like a 1959 model with a picture you could barley make out what was going on, you have to empty your own garbage or get fiined $25.00 no maid service and the worst was when we were leaving I ask if I could use their computer for driving directions and I got a one word answer NO!! Never said " THANK YOU" or " How was everything" VERY RUDE CAUTION don't go there!!

When I first called to book my vacation the people on the phone were very rude. I thought that maybe it would be a little better in person but not the case this place is a real dump like being in a third world country. The only way or reason I would go back to Rainbow River Club is if I had an enemy I needed to torture
