We have been coming since they opened. We always enjoy the food and service.

I have to start with their conch chowder, the best in the area.
For mains, I had one of their specials, paella, yellow rice with clams, mussels, calamari and 1/2 of a lobster tail, very good.

My wife had their Cuban skirt steak. It is one of her favorites.

All entrees come with a house salad.

Didn’t know what to expect as we drive up. Next door to old motel and easy to drive by location. Greeting was very warm and set stage for wonderful experience. Indoor decor or coral/stone and weathered wood was interesting. Vast menu selections of fish and meat was impressive. Dinners served with small house salad and veggie/starch. Lots of flavor in foods. Really good sangria. And host personally addresses you. We will return!

Started off with Sangria (what else could one conceivably start with in a Cuban restaurant..?) It was excellent
The rest of the menu was just as good for all group members. Good value for money.
The only room for improvement would be in the speed of service (although I have to admit that we were there at peak time).

Another couple was with us when we had 6 30 reservations on April 29, 2018 at Phyllis G’s Enigma. We were seated promptly, and our dinners were served quickly. While my friend was still eating, they started clearing the dishes so we asked them to please wait. It was about 7:10 that we received our check which we paid quickly. By 7:15 we were asked to leave the table. People that were there before us were still sitting at their table with their leftover packages. It was our favorite restaurant until that experience. Not only didn’t we have a few minutes to digest our meal, we were very embarrassed. It is a story I will relay whenever possible so others don’t have the same experience!!!!

After finally finding the restaurant, (you can't see it coming from the North) we were seated promptly for our reservation. It was an extremely busy Friday night and parking was at a premium. The menu is extensive featuring Cuban, Mexican and Italian entrees. They only serve wine and beer. Our server (and owner), Adita, brought bread knots and butter to the table. A small salad was next, fresh greens, tomato, carrot, cucumber and red cabbage with a nice Balsamic Vinaigrette on the side. My companion and I both opted for a cup of Lobster Bisque and were not disappointed,. loaded with chucks of Lobster meat, and very tasty. We selected the Cuban specials for entrees. She chose Macadamia Grouper, a Macadamia nut crust with a light Banana liqueur sauce, The entree came with slices of potatoes and mixed vegetables, Carrots, Zucchini, and Squash. I ordered the Snapper Havana. It was sauteed in a tasty rich sauce of Olive Oil, Peppers and onions. Rice and fried sweet Plantains accompanied the dish The portions were very large, and allowed us to sample each others choice and agreed that both were excellent. Too full for any dessert. The restaurant is small, and was filled with patrons,The noise level was very high, but we were seated in a corner and it didn't cause too much trouble in conversing, although music did not help the noise issue.Prices were very reasonable.
