Our family of 4, complete with older teenagers had a great time fossil hunting today with Patrick!!! Found a ton of sharks teeth:). He was very accommodating and made sure we were all having a successful and fun experience!!
Would definitely book with Patrick again.

My request for Patrick was to search for fossils in the Peace River and instead was taken to a stream that goes to the peace river.

After the trip was over I was told I did not pay the right amount for a party of two and that I should compensate him for the trouble of having just two individuals out searching for fossils.

I will not be using this Company in the future.

Dear AR, we apologize for any confusion or miscommunications that may have taken place when booking your fossil Adventure with us. Our aim is to put people in the most productive, yet safest environment possible for our activities. We select our Digging locations from one of many Creeks or waterways after review of water depth and environmental conditions, and select the most appropriate site for the day. When the Peace River is too deep , we opt for feeder systems that are more safe and productive for our guests. NO PROMISE is ever made for exact digging locations...
All of our minimum cost requirements, preparation information and the like is contained within our website and discussed with each customer prior to accepting of the deposit. Our minimum Adventure costs of $210.00 has been in place since 2015. Thisminimum fee accommodates up to 3 guests, with All additional guests @ $70 per person.
We are truly sorry that you did not feel your adventure was a five-star experience. Please contact us if you would like to schedule another event and allow us the opportunity to address your concerns.

I have been fossil hunting with Patrick twice in the Gainesville area. He can accommodate groups if various sizes and is great with kids. The spots he takes you are not over hunted so you always find something. The colors in the Gainesville area are amazing!

Patrick is the tour guide of Fossil Funatics. He is a very knowledgeable fossil hunter. I've been hunting shark teeth for almost two years now and still he gave me a lot of pointers and techniques on how to more effectively search for fossils and teeth.
He really knows what he is doing and he has a very gregarious personality. Even if you have experience with finding teeth or other fossils on your own, it is very much worth the time to spend a day with him. Go check him out and I'm sure he'll incite an aspiration to find something unique or awesome.

100% fun. Loved every minute with Patrick as our guide. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We didn't want the day to end it was so good. We found many different sharks teeth and many fossilised bone and other things. Well worth the 3 hr drive we took, needless to say, we will be back on our next trip down from Michigan.
