Hotel charges for parking in a public garage, $23 plus tax per night, even for guests.
Also charges an extra $27 hotel fee per night for no reason. This 2 extra charges are not included in the price you pay when booking, they wait until is time to do the check out to charge them to your account. Thieves!

rolandoiglesisas,

We are one of the few hotels on the beach that give guests the option of either self parking or valet parking. We have over 700 spots in our garage, so we do allow people visiting our outlets, spa as well as the beach the option to park in our garage as well.

We do not try and hide the resort fee. The pricing is displayed when you are booking your room thru Hyatt.com or other sites. Please let me know if you find a site that resort fee is not clearly displayed and I will be happy to research.

Best Regards,

Chad

Loved everything about our 4 day stay. We normally stay at the Sand Pearl Resort, which is on the other end of the beach, and is very luxurious, but also very pricey. I read the Sand Pearl vs Hyatt Rengency posts and thought we’d try Hyatt since we’ve stayed at Sand Pearl a few times. We were not disappointed at all! This resort offered just as much, very well located, and the staff were incredible. The rooms were larger, and less expensive. The pool was nice, but not as nice as Sand Pearl; however, everything else made up the difference. We’re staying here when we’re in Clearwater again.

The rooms were good-sized, clean and enjoyable with great views. The hotel is centrally located with walk-out beach access, complimentary towel service and a great staff. Pool is on the 8th floor with an awesome view of the beach. Lots of restaurants surrounding the hotel and great food service at the hotel as well.

Second time here. Got the Gulf Front Two Bedroom this time, very nice. Love the views! Didn't eat at the resort, too many great places to eat in the area. Everything we wanted to do was in short walking distances from the resort, can't beat that! No Driving!!!

Thanks for the great review and glad you came for another visit.

The two bedroom gulf front suites are definitely one of my favorites where you can wake up in the morning and see the gulf from your bed.

See you again soon.

Friends were having their daughter's wedding here so we spent 3 nights. The room was great - 2 queen beds, a kitchenette, balcony, and a separate vanity area that made getting ready for the wedding a breeze. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room but if you had to, the extra-large screen TV is certainly a bonus! All of the hotel employees were incredibly friendly and helpful. We spent all of Sunday after the wedding at the pool. Great view of the beach and a pool bar, so food and drinks were right at hand. The beach is just a few steps from the hotel and you can pick up towels in a pavilion right outside. Be sure to go up to the Sky Terrace for a great view. The soaps and lotions were larger than your typical hotel offerings. There is a Keurig and coffee is provided but only powered creamer - bring or buy some of the better stuff if that is important to you. One thing to note - the elevators are incredibly slow so plan accordingly. All in all, it's a great resort and I would stay here again.
