“Great cottage, great location, great holiday”
Reviewed 26 March 2014 for a stay in March 2014

We stayed at Chase Cottage for a long weekend. It was immaculate (probably the cleanest house I have been into!) and very well equipped with everything you need. There is a book of pub walks which we used everyday. Lovely walks and some excellent pubs both walking distance and a short drive away. I would definitely recommend Chase Cottage to people looking for a walking/relaxing break in beautiful countryside.

Liked best: The whole 3 days and nights were fab!
Liked least: ONLY downside, no wi-fi, think this would benefit a few people otherwise perfect!

“Chase Cottage, great location fantastic find.”
Reviewed 22 November 2013 for a stay in November 2013

We have just returned from a short break at Chase Cottage, a great place to spend time with family for our 30th wedding anniversary. Everything you need to make your stay home from home, well equipped kitchen and lounge area with a veriety of books, maps and walks, great wallks from the door, we walked to The Brown Horse at Winster around 6 miles round trip, nice little pub with good food. Nice walk down the lanes to the Punch Bowl at Crossthwaight. If you don't fancy walking and want excelent food just pop next door to the Hare & Hounds, great food and selection of beers, we ate there three times, each time as good as each other. The staff were very helpfull and always there for a chat. Masons arms only half a mile up he lane, good food and drinks.
Great weekend allround. Thanks Hugh & Wendy.
