We just happened to see a flyer at a local business for Sweeney Todd at Jorgensen Theater. We thought the tickets were a little pricey at first, but after seeing the show the tickets are priced appropriately. We really enjoyed the show. The acting, singing, lightning, props, music, wardrobe and everything was more than 5 stars! There is snacks, soda & water for sale. The seats were pretty comfortable and it looks like you have a good view from any seat. I went online to check information about parking so I had a little idea where we were going. From north garage or lot 9 the theater is up the hill, so be prepared to walk. There isn’t any clear signage from the road that the building is the theater, we did get there early and it looked like they were putting temporary signs up after we found it. We were confused why they didn’t utilize the doors closest to parking. The doors had signs saying to walk around the building. Overall we were very happy and can’t wait to go back to see another show.

The Jorgensen is a nice venue. We've visited a few times to see UConn student and summer theatre. Parking is a nearby, but not close.

The seats are very comfortable and although we sat in the upper balcony we had great visibility and the acoustics are superb. The sound system is awesome. We've seen a couple of concerts here, the last being The Piano Guys. Ushers were very helpful and friendly. The parking situation is a little challenging especially in the North Garage. but I would recommend you wait a bit before actually leaving. That way the garage traffic jam has a chance to clear out.

A few days ago, I went with my family to see Billy Gardell. It was my first time back in the theater in a while, and I was not disappointed. The act was great, the theater was large and comfortable and so were the seats. I enjoy seeing shows here and definitely will in the future!

On campus of U. of CT in accessible setting with parking available. There are performances meant for audience of all ages, from distinct styles of dance, to different types of music -- singers, soloists, groups from quartets to duets to full orchestras.
