“There aren't enough starts in the sky”
Reviewed 15 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

So, how did we end up in Embo?

We knew we wanted to go up to the highlands and we wanted to bring our dog with us. He's not seen the sea, so for him to play on the beach was a treat beyond gravy bones.

A chap my wife met at a conference mentioned the beatific sands of Embo and from then, after seeing pictures of the beach, we were smitten.

The next choice to make was where to stay and this beautiful cottage popped up via Google... Thank God it did.

Ideally situated for walks on the beach and in the Heather, this fantastic home-from-home blended the mix of old world charm and contemporary living perfectly.

Elegant as it was refined. this fantasticly appointed accommodation was nothing short of perfection.

Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and Harris Tweed furnishings created an atmosphere that matched the beauty of the location wonderfully.

Out Labrador puppy was able to chill and chase, exploring the enclosed garden and watching butterflies with the kind of focus that's sorely sorely lacking in everyday life.

I could write so much more about this wonderful location and accommodation but in the name of brevity, I'll say that reviewing this beautiful place is a pleasure.... Nearly but not quite as much as staying was.
