Excellent location for an overnight stop with plenty of restaurants and shops close by. Very large hotel but after the small boutique hotels of the rest of our trip, we felt the service was not comparable. There had clearly been smoking in our non smoking room, and despite two requests some hours apart, and the promise of a humidifier, the problem was not rectified. Not a comfortable night despite fabulous bed and pillows. A pity, because room was spacious with a beautiful bathroom. Breakfast was varied and well cooked where applicable, but service was slow and our server seemed disinterested. We witnessed one young woman standing yawning, more than once!.
