This pub is the smallest pub in England. This very small pub is in the foreccourt of Claygate Station.and has limited opening hours. About 4 people at a time can be served. There is a variety of home made beers and dinkies of wine plus snacks. Has bales and seats outside with umbrellas and heaters. Interesting and quirky.

With 4 out of 5 'pubs' in Claygate serving food and at least 3 of them aspiring to be gastro pubs and aiming for the family market, the arrival of a drinkers pub in the form of the diminutive Platform 3 is very welcome. A decent pint, convivial atmosphere and first class service. Only downside is not enough chairs when it gets really busy.

4 of us were staying in Claygate and when we found out about this place we had to visit. It was fantastic! Tables and chairs were laid out by the platform and we enjoyed a few really nice pints of locally brewed ale served by a knowledgable owner. The bar sells all manner of soft drinks and snacks and we had a really great time. The prices are really reasonable too - highly recommended. Check out their website for opening times!

A must visit for any real ale and/or quirky pub fan.
It is truly amazing what the owner has done and managed to squeeze into such a small space. In addition to that the beers are also brewed by him!
I don’t want to give too much more away and therefore spoil the surprise, but if your train commute takes you through Claygate and you have time to break your journey for a nice pint, then why not!!??

The smallest pub in the UK. Alex brews some great beers and sells them on Patform 3 adjacent to Claygate Station. There is no room in the pub other than to be served so it’s outside drinking. Plenty of tables and chairs. Alex has created a wonderful atmosphere and everybody communicates with each other. It’s fun. We go on the train! Check the opening times on the web site, it is not open every day. Well worth a visit
