We were travelling on Inter State 95. Sometimes you just want to stretch your legs without the noise and activity of an Inter State next to you. A short distance off of I-95 in New Haven is the remains of the walled F Brewster Estate, built in 1909. The grounds with its many paths and gardens are open to enjoy. The park is just a delight and peaceful.

Love this park! It's quaint, cute & clean. It's out of the heart of the city which makes it a little less accessible but a little more special. It's also a great venue to watch their Shakespeare in the Park series.

A small, pleasant park to walk through. Maintained mostly by volunteers, there's a greenhouse with a nice variety of plants. Plenty of street parking. And we saw people with dogs. You can spend a pleasant half hour, up to an hour, walking the park and then viewing the greenhouse.
