Unit 210 is a 3 br/2 bath. It is rundown, slightly dingy and poorly equipped. Despite representations that 3 bedroom condos have a king bed, a double and 2 twins, this one has 2 doubles and 2 twins. Other things missing: soap, toilet paper holder, humidifiers. No vacuum cleaner. Hot tubs are grimy, halls are poorly lit, parking lot is icy, kitchen is poorly equipped, and walls are thin. Positives are decent sized living/dining room and decent shuttle service. But front desk was rude, and unwilling to be helpful. They disclaimed all responsibility for misrepresenting bedding or condition of condo since rented through a travel agent (ski.com, not VRBO or Airbnb). Would not recommend, or stay here again.

I must say that having never stayed in Vail before, I have nothing to compare it to. We enjoyed our stay here even though our unit was not under The Wren management. It is a little bit of a walk to get to the free bus service which runs throughout Vail and Lionshead village. We had rented a car but only used it one time on our visit. I could hear I 70 noise while in the bedroom with no tv on but never noticed it anywhere else in the unit. We had a beautiful view of Golden Peak. Unit 402. I felt it was a good value and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Our first time staying at The Wren and we will be back. Great location to walk in Betty Ford Park. Short walk to Vail Village which The Wren is located just to the East end of the Village. The staff was very helpful. Welcome party was nice to meet other visitors from all over the world. Rooms were very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Parking spot for each unit is included, but very low clearance into the underground spots, so don't drive a HIGH PROFILE SUV or have a Box Carrier on top. A regular height SUV like Range Rover, Ford Explorer fit well -- Larger/Taller SUV's did not clear under ground garage.

Room Tip: West Views of Mountain are a PLUS

It's tiny, and totally comfortable, but the staff and food are excellent. Great beer and wine list. Very simple and fun. Also popular, and they don't take reservations. Great for a night out at the coalmine theatre just down the street.

Great place, convenient shuttle to and from slopes (only about 5 min each way)...
Easy walk to restaurants... Or cook at home with fully equipped kitchen.
Jacuzzi to unwind after all day skiing. Great alternative to more expensive ski in/out places.
