“In A Town With Many, This May Be The Best”

Maybe more Mexican restaurants per capita in this town than most, and this one is likely the best. Lots of parking in the vicinity, the interior is very clean, although lacking in atmosphere with too bright florescent lighting. The service was great with everyone on staff super friendly and helpful with the menu, which has extensive offerings. The food was plentiful and very good. We would definitely go back.

I have been to Viva Mexico several times since they opened, a couple of years anyway. Their restaurant is physically small, but for the size, the atmosphere is big. The service is always with a smile, and is always fast, whether eating in or take-out. The food in the beginning was so-so, but has really come a long way! My favorite, the shredded beef Viva Burrito used to have a lot of pepper, celery, carrot & onion chunks in it, thereby deducting from the amount of meat. Past several times is 100% wonderfully seasoned, slow-cooked beef wrapped in a flour tortilla and smothered in red sauce and melted cheeses. Muy Bueno!! We have had also great enchiladas, tacos and other dishes too. I also recommend the churros or sopapillas if you have room for dessert! I think pricing is reasonable for the amount of food you get. Their refried pinto beans are excellent too.

Our hotel clerk had recommended Viva Mexico and we were quick to agree with her assessment. They have great food, lighting fast service and a pleasant decor. The servings were beyond generous.

A solid restaurant. We came here with friends. $1.50 for margaritas during happy hour - they had a good amount of tequila and lime juice. Did not taste syrupy at all, as in many places. Heaping plates of food, all fresh, not greasy, great quality and service for your money. Thank you for a delicious dinner.

This place was recommended to us, and we tried it out. But our impression was luke warm. My wife's pork green chili was 'so-so'. Her margarita was weak. And my enchiladas, though they were decent, did not digest well. On the good side, our server was spectacular. She was very attentive and cheerful. We just wish that the food had been on the same par as our wonderful server.
