    Our family of three (and dog) stayed here for two nights. Very large recently remodeled unit that was clean and comfortable. The highlight was we got to leave our son's dog in the fenced backyard while we visited Mesa Verde National Park and the owner, Joe, kept an eye on her. WOW. One doesn't get that kind of personal accommodation very often.

    “Simply Awesome Durango Rental”

    This hidden gem is located at the back of the owner's property about a mile from the main part of Durango. The owner tore down the old carriage house and replaced it with a stunning 1 bedroom apartment above his garage. It is completely private and has a deck that backs up to a beautiful green and flowery hillside. It has all of the amenities of home, all of them first class. Examples are a temperpedic king bed, new washer and dryer, gas stove, gas grill. Being new on the market I'm sure it will be in hot demand in coming years. We loved it and plan on coming back as often as we can.
