My mother and 2 teenage brothers are visiting from Missouri. They are at the Denver Union Station. Their flight was very early this morning from St Louis. Their taking the train to my town, but the soonest they could get a train is 2pm. They’re exhausted. My youngest brother, 13, is resting with his head down on his lap. A security guard asks if he is okay, my mother says “yes he’s fine.” Then the security guard says “well he can’t sleep here.” She said “he isn’t sleeping, he is just resting.” This high and mighty security guard out to pick on an obviously worn out 13 yr old boy then strolls back and forth patrolling the section my family is sitting in.
After searching thoroughly online, I can’t find rules and regulations for the Denver Union Station that way sleeping is prohibited? I can only find that you cannot lie on the benches, and that’s for the D.C. Union Station.
If they want security guards to enforce rules and regulations, they need to make them easily accessible to paying passengers. How is one supposed to know or trust a security guard when no such rule is posted???

This a Denver landmark that I have been going to since 1955. Took trains out of town from here, eat at many different restaurants that have disappeared along with one of largest model train displays and club.this location has changed with the times. Now it's a fantastic day or night location for everyone . Eat,drink and shop. I LOVE IT.

This is by far the best way to get to the airport particularly if you are staying downtown. There are a number of restaurants and shops in the station as well.

Great spot ! It looks amazing inside !! We didn't try Snooze for breakfast, but it is supposed to be great. We did stop into Stoic and Genuine, which has a great happy hour, drinks and food !!

We came through here on our way to and from the airport and staying on Downtown. Compared to other places that have train stations, it was quite a multi tasker. It's both a hotel, food place, train station, as well as musical events during the summer. It's quite a happening place and a little confusing, but it's not boring. It's also quite pretty on the inside and great to look at. I wish I could have lingered longer, and will be back.
