Owner description: This fancy antique-filled Victorian house was the home of Molly Brown, a famous survivor of the Titanic.

As a fan of musicals, I was looking forward to visiting the home made famous in the movie "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" starring Debbie Reynolds. Many of the movie myths were dispelled, but I was left with a greater appreciation for the real woman behind the myth! The architecture, period furniture and ambience of the home are worth seeing from a historical sense and learning about the forward-thinking, civic minded and intelligent woman and her family who lived there will remain a vivid memory of my trip to Denver.

The four of us thoroughly enjoyed our tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and a little quirky which made it entertaining. The home is beautiful and loaded with charm. The gift shop out back had some souvenirs that we purchased. We got the last tour of the day at 3:30 and it lasted about an hour. The cost was $15 and well worth it. Visitors aren't supposed to touch anything, so I don't think this is a tour for kids.

This is a very interesting tour. And the tour guide was fantastic. Reasonably priced. There are stairs but they also have an elevator But I'm not sure all parts of the house can be accessed.

This place was fascinating. It was wonderful to learn the truth from fiction about Margaret Brown. If you go to Denver I would recommend you visit. It can be difficult to get tickets so book ahead online.

Although we all may know about the unsinkable Molly Brown that was but a small footnote to her life. The tour does an great job of telling more of her life story and experiences. It certainly peaked my interest to learn more. Everyone enjoyed the tour and the history lesson.

Get your tickets online ahead of time and if you are Military be sure and ask for the discount.
