Been to the rocky mountains a few times so we decided to go somewhere new. Seven falls is so beautiful and the perfect walk to the water fall. A must if in colorado springs

We came down the falls from the top after an amazing zip line experience. The falls are really pretty, the stairs are really sturdy. The entire venue is immaculate. The 1858 restaurant is positively charming. The falls are lit at night for another lovely experience. There is a shuttle for those who don't want to walk the 3/4 mile walk from the gate (but the walk is stunning). There is an elevator that takes you to a falls viewing platform if the 247 stairs are not for you. Lovely at the bottom and the top.

Several friends told my family that we HAD to visit Seven Falls in Colorado Springs. So we did. But we left feeling like we had fallen into a bit of a tourist trap. The grounds are well maintained and the walk up to the falls is beautiful. Along the way are gift shops and food stands ready to take your dollars. The steps up to the falls are NOT for the faint of heart. It is really an experience in physical endurance to make it all the way up, which we did. But then, at the top, there are walking trails that go into the woods. As we were exploring back there, we discovered a massive pipe pumping water into the source of the falls. Were we supposed to see that? It took much of the wonder away, and left us thinking that the Seven Falls is a man-made attraction designed to pull in tourists and their money. It's pretty. And it's a good workout. But if you miss this while in the area I don't think you'll be losing out on anything.

After a short walk or shuttle ride through beautiful canyons, you come up on a massive 7 tier waterfalls. You have the choice of hiking stairs or elevators to an observation deck. There are also many flights of stairs to walk up along the Falls

There are some picturesque areas here for sure, but the falls were a little underwhelming considering how much hype there was surrounding them. Be prepared to take a LOT of steps if you want to reach the top. For someone in good shape, probably not a big deal, but I started to lose my will to live by the time I got to the landing point about halfway up. Recovered quickly at the top and hiked on the trail for a bit. Would have liked to follow the trail further, but since it was getting close to dusk and we didn't want to get stuck in the dark, we backtracked and went back down. The elevator ride to one of the landings opposite the falls was cool. I think our favorite part was the shuttle driver we had that took us up the mountain. He was doing a great job keeping everyone entertained on the ride up. Was a decent one time attraction, but probably wouldn't go a second time unless we had someone with us who hadn't been and was interested.
