Owner description: Starr Kempf Sculpture Garden - private property and not a business open to public

Like many, I stumbled upon this totally cool sculpture garden while passing through the area for other reasons. Once caught out of the corner of your eye, you simply can't just drive on by. There's some very creative work here.

Still located in the family yard, these large kinetic sculptures are inspiring. Before you go, research the history of the sculptures and the backstory of the (partially successful) municipal efforts to remove the sculptures. You’re in a residential neighborhood and should be respectful of the families when you visit.

A quiet day seeing the sights around Broadmore and the Cheyenne mountain area. Then just after we turned a corner we saw an some incredible sculptures. They are majestic in size and dimension then as the wind blows the sight and design is amazing. You need to remember this is a private residence and a quiet neighborhood so be respectable. But a few moment is all you need to enjoy.

Great to see on a day with a slight breeze. Fun to watch them turn and spin. Great spot to stop. See you there.

These sculptures are located next to the Starsmore Nature Center. They sit in the sculptor's front yard for all to see, and they are breath-taking. Three have been moved to the Ent Center for the Arts on the CUCS campus.
