Blodgett is largely unknown, even to locals, so it doesn't get the crowds the other city parks and open spaces get. If you're looking to get away from it all without driving three hours into a Wilderness area, this is the place. The only drawback is that the trails don't appear to be very well planned, and you may have some difficulty constructing a nice loop. Just be prepared to hit a dead end or two and turn around when necessary.
