The visitor centre was clean and full of good stuff.

You can choose your own path... there are maps ...and you can take a smaller paved path to the huge red rocks. Or you can take a bunch of other hikes.
We ended up being so in love with the beauty of nature we hiked 11kms.
Careful on some of the longer hikes though because the paths get a little ungroomed and it would be easy to get lost. There was a mother out there with three kids and she was a mess... yelling and frustrated because they were so lost and walking in circles. We helped guide them back a bit to the right path.

What a cool place to do a little rock climbing. Took my kids to see some sites and didn't realize they would have so much fun climbing around on these huge red boulders. Absolutely Beautiful!

The geology here is beyond fantastic. But this is the most popular attraction in Colorado Springs, so try to come off season or very early to beat the crowds. Don't even think of coming midday on a summer weekend.

Beautiful park which is part of the city of Colorado Springs. Clearly the best city park I’ve seen. Plenty of hikes, climbing and photo opportunities. Very nice!

We took a day trip from Denver and drove to Colorado Springs. These are some very beautiful natural formations. Just a pleasant walk and such a nice area. Colorado Springs is a nice town with some good restaurants and sites to see. Well worth a day trip from Denver or a nice place to stay for a couple of days.
