Fresh food with some surprising food combinations make this place a must visit in Boulder. We dined for lunch, the service and food were amazing and could really not fault it.

Nice atmosphere, though I understand it gets pretty busy - so go early :).
We'll be back next time we're in town ... for sure ... hmmm, I'm feeling hungry right now thinking about it!

We had a very nice dinner at the Kitchen in Boulder in late September 2018 on the first leg of a memorable road trip to the U.S. Southwest. Located on Pearl Street, the Kitchen is a nice looking and welcoming restaurant with a reasonably priced and varied menu. We began with a Summer Collins and a local Colorado Beer (Seven Doors from TRVE Brewery in Denver). We shared the Grilled BBQ Pork Skewer as an appetizer and Pasta Bolognese and Pan Seared Salmon for main courses. Both the food and the drinks were very good and our dining experience was enhanced both by Megan’s great service and the relaxed vibe of the restaurant. It should perhaps be mentioned that the restaurant was filled to capacity the weekday evening that we were there and we were glad that we had made reservations several days in advance. This was a great dinner to start off our road trip.

After we missed the reservation to this restaurant a night before (we went to their upstairs lounge instead) we decided to go back and check their dinner food.
It was a great experience. We loved the appetizers but the Little Gem Salad was the best. Their salmon is also very tasty.
