Great food, nice outdoor area. Too noisy for my old ears. Nice place to take out-of-town customers. Vegetarian options.

I've been going to The Med for years. The service is still very good as is the atmosphere, if a bit noisy at happy hour as to be expected. The outdoor patio is lovely. But the food has declined considerably. The last several times I was there you almost needed a microscope to see your tapas. My last cheese plate had 3-4 shavings and I mean shavings of 2 kinds of cheese, a bit of bread and a dab of sauce. So it is with the rest of the offerings, yet the prices remain the same or higher. There's not much seasoning in the food and it has become quite oily. Still a nice place to gather with friends if you don't care about what you're eating.

This is a Boulder institution with history behind it. One feels obliged to observe a sort of reverence. The tea, the cakes and pastries have a similar aura as the traditional English afternoon tea. Or maybe I’m just an old romantic.

Five of us had a quick dinner a couple of nights ago. Very laid back, somewhat noisy place, but fun. It’s really nice for small bites. I had Spanakopita, some small meatballs, and a bit of skirt steak with green sauce and a bit of shredded cheese: seven or eight bites in total. The others had small pizzas, which were good - thin soft crust.

If you like Mediterranean food, everything you need is here with great ambience, food and service. Located on Walnut in Boulder, right next to the St. Julien hotel, you’ll love the choices.
