This was our first time staying here and we liked that it was close to Algadones, Mexico, where we went for dental work. The room was large and attractive, and the bed was comfortable. The setup of the closet doors with the bathroom door and walkway into the bathroom was really awkward, a poor design. Other than that the room was nice. The hotel has a fabulous walk-in pool that is nice and warm, a large hot tub and a lazy river pool. The only problem is that you go down the regular elevator to get there then have to walk through the casino to get to the pool. Even worse is walking back to the room in a dripping swimsuit ... again through the casino. Be sure to request a non-smoking room if that is what you want. They had a good deli and an average buffet. Internet service was poor.

Room Tip: If you want non-smoking ask when you book.

First of all the lady at check-in was very efficient and friendly. She offered us a room with a view (of the pool area). Too bad the windows have not been washed in the last year.

Our room had two queen beds - one with a terrible mattress and the other with a mattress that was so -so. The room was clean but the area around the air-conditioned was filthy.

Our Wi-Fi service was slow and kept kicking us out.

The lighting in the bathroom and over the sink might as well as been non-existent.

Other than this the room was O.K. and the location for those going into Mexico is excellent. Lots of parking and less than 10 minutes to the Mexican border.

For $100.00 per night, I really feel that you can do better in Yuma. Also don't plan on getting rich on the slot machines at this casino.

We arrived at the hotel and were not allowed to check-in until 3 pm. At 3 there was of course a line waiting to check in. Upon leaving you need to stand in line to check out. I thought that these practices vanished 20 or 30 years ago. The furniture in the lobby is shabby. The rooms was very clean but a bit dated. We had dinner at The Ironwood restaurant. We ordered the "special" which was a rib eye steak. The flavor was average but I have never seen a rib steak so thin. For $20 this was a big disappointment. If our waitperson, Gracie, had not been the wonderful person that she is the night would have been a bomb. Since it is the only place to stay near the Mexican boarder you have no other choice. The prices are on the high side but when you are the only game in town you charge what you can get. First time there and most likely the last

Very nice and clean motel and nice casino which had a lot of new machines. Close to Algodones where you can get very inexpensive prescription drugs. We had a large clean clean motel room which this motel we will definitely come back next year.

As good as any in the area. Rates are best online. Close to Mexican border town of Algodones where everyone goes to get reliable inexpensive prescription drugs without a prescription. Also a snowbird destination for dental work and eyeglasses.
