There is a beautiful setting in the back patio, but we were disappointed in the good – very little vegetarian and not very tasty (we had vegan wrap). They have lots of egg items (which we don't eat) so our review is more relevant for vegetarians.

A great stop to nosh...I found it via it's great reviews and wasn't disappointed...moreover pleasantly surprised. Standing in line to order was worth the short wait. We loved sitting by the fountain in the shaded courtyard that has a restful atmosphere even though it was busy. Proof...people enjoying their meal working on their laptops...a quaint oasis to nosh...visit...and energize for the rest of your tour through Sonoma.

Just get in line to order - the line moves quickly. Then go find a table, either out front, indoors or in the large shaded patio out back.

The coffees were very good. Thai beef salad, vegan wrap (curried cauliflower and other stuff) and eggs were beautifully presented, fresh and extremely tasty.

Cheery and efficient service.

I'm kinda of old fart and like the traditional way of ordering and receiving my breakfast so this took a little getting used to. Need to stand in line behind at least 10-15 people ( must be popular ) to get your order in. I would suggest getting your table first, look at the menu and then send one poor soul up to order for all. When your past that point, it's really very good. The back patio is very relaxing and surrounded by dense foliage. You will feel like you are on vacation, even if you live in Sonoma like we do. Food and service is very good.

Cut through Sonoma to avoid racetrack traffic and found the Sunflower Caffe. The tables out front overlook the central square and the back patio is shady and charming. My husband had the frittata special, which he very much enjoyed, and I had a single, buttery, not-too-sweet waffle covered with sliced peaches and whipped cream. Both were very good, the service was pleasant and friendly, and we were very pleased. Simple, delicious food, not too fussy or odd (wine country can get that way) and very fairly priced.
