We had an unexpectedly wonderful lunch, We went for the beer and because it was near our hotel, but loved the beer, food, patio atmosphere (with breeze) and even great 70s music (Beatles, James Taylor, and Cat Stevens).
They have a delicious black lager (Moonlight Death & Taxes). We also had an excellent lunch – Tavern Samosa had great filling and great sauce, fried but not at all greasy.
Beet salad was very good and lightly dressed.
Handmade veggie burger was good, and the wedge fries were wonderful (also not greasy).
All this in a large, pleasant patio (with umbrellas) with a breeze, very good service, and great music.
