We booked a couples spa mani/pedi a week in advance, the service was great but the room is small and chairs are uncomfortable.
wonderful treatments with views of the ocean. We all had different services and enjoyed them immensely. I was impressed they scheduled us at the last moment and surpassed our needs .
I didn't feel loved by The Four Seasons. The massage was great a little short at just 50 minutes and I felt like we were rushed out of the room following the treatment. I felt like it could've been more personal and warm but there was seriously something lacking. I didn't feel the warm comfortable feeling of being at the Four Seasons in Westlake or elsewhere. I just felt like we were ushered out of the massage room and into the only place we could relax, the lounge area. When we asked if we could go to the pool area and eat lunch they promptly said No it's only for guests. We felt like strangers after spending a considerable amount on massages.
It was a big disappointment to say the least and I left the place feeling like we weren't good enough for their exclusive hotel. Boo. After a much needed relaxation and spa experience, this didn't live up to our expectations unfortunately. Needless to say, I won't be back.
I'd rather spend time at Bacara, Ojai Valley Inn or The Four Seasons in Westlake. At least we'd be privileged enough to gain pool access so we can properly relax after our treatment.
