Exorbitantly expensive for what it is. Not for adults. Kids will enjoy themselves, adults will watch kids enjoy themselves.

My tennagers enjoyed themselves but it was certainly not a ‘let’s do it again’ event for them. Some of the exhibits needed explanation from staff and when crowded, it could be a tedious wait.
The younger of the two enjoyed it better and we estimated that it’s most suitable for ages below 14years. Our older one was ok but we could tell she was a little past these ‘junior-type’ exhibits.

In all,we found that the price to exhibit was on the high side. $25 for audults and $19 for teens/children up to 17.

We took the grandkids to the Tech Museum and found the "Body World Decoded" very interesting. The interactive visualization of several plasticized human bodies was the part we spent most time in. The display was most informative seeing muscles and organs of the body and the affects of smoking and disease.
The IMAX theater was very nice where we saw the movie about Pandas in comfortable seating.
We were there during the week so it was not overrun with people. We will be back.

The staff and the place was a great place for a Christmas Party. The food and drinks was laid out on every floor. Plenty of room for dancing.

I was pretty excited to check this place out! I was in San Jose for a day and had some time to kill before meeting up with some friends. I saw advertisement for The Tech and looked at their website. It looked pretty cool!

If you're a kid or if you have a kid, this place is probably awesome. There are a lot of hands-on activities, but not really a whole lot to do if you're an adult. I'll be skipping it next time around.
