Description: Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch's restaurant showcases the seasonal, ingredient-driven American farmhouse cooking of executive chef Stephen Barber. LMR Grass-fed Beef CheeseburgerHoused in a former nursery barn, our 110-seat restaurant revolves around a central open kitchen with booth and central seating, community dining, and a full bar. We feature an authentic farm-to-table menu. The ingredients are foraged from local sources and feature Long Meadow Ranch's all natural grass-fed beef and lamb, organic and sustainably produced eggs, fruits, vegetables, extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, and honey. Possessing a substantial background in Southern cooking styles, Stephen emphasizes a wood-burning element for select dishes. Stephen's kitchen is also outfitted with a plancha, a cast-iron grill ideal for searing Long Meadow Ranch's healthy, tender, and flavorful grass-fed beef and lamb. Community tables at Farmstead restaurantFarmstead at Long Meadow Ranch's restaurant wine program features Long Meadow Ranch Winery's elegant and balanced wines, as well as other domestic and international wines selected by Chris Hall to complement the restaurant's American farmhouse cooking. LMR and Farmstead wines are also available to purchase to-go at the Logan-Ives House cellar door. There is no corkage fee at Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch. Instead, a $5-per-bottle fee is collected as a donation to a featured local community-building not-for-profit organization each month. We call this program Corkage for Community. Outdoor bar at Farmstead restaurantOutdoors in season, guests can enjoy a meal among the espalier apple trees, drinks at the bar, or relax with friends and family by the cozy wood-fired authentic forge. Monday through Friday from 4 PM to 6 PM we offer a Growers' Happy Hour with specially-priced cocktails, beer, and wine and a special bar menu. We also offer Weekly Traditions featuring special friendly, casual menus on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nghts and on Sunday for brunch. Live entertainment on Fridays. The regular menu is available everyday. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Walk-ins are welcome

This was my first time to Farmstead and we had reservations but still needed to wait. (Not surprising for a Saturday Summer evening) It was over 100 degrees but waiting outside was still pleasant because of the misters that were everywhere. The dinner was great! Our group of 5 all loved what they ate. I decided to go with a lighter dinner and got the meatballs with a side of potato salad and I would highly recommend it! One of my friends got the steak tartar and small order of oysters and said it was one of the best he has tasted. The mixed drinks at the bar were just what we needed on a hot night!
And don't forget to try the chocolate cream pie, REALLY Great!

My wife and I visited Farmstead for lunch. It is part of the Long Meadow Ranch complex.

The restaurant itself is nice and airy. It is well decorated and what you would expect with the name Farmstead.

Service as great. It was very attentive and when there was an issue (my issue, not the kitchen's problem) with my main - it was whisked away and rectified.

The menu was expansive. There were a lot of very good options. We tried the cheeses, had soup and salad and then I had the burger. All were really good and very hearty.

Definitely will be back.

Thank JCollura

My new wife and I (we are on our honeymoon) went to Farmstead during our stay in Napa. Our thoughts;
1. Ambiance is beautiful. Beautiful wrought iron chandaliers, great architecture.
2. Food was wonderful. Beautiful preparation, good portions and delicious.
3. Service was excellent.
4. The owner bought us a glass of champagne and also dessert for our celebration. Classy move and much appreciated.
5. Dinner, with 4 glasses of wine, two apps, two entrees was $200, and this included tip. Good value we thought.
6. We recommend Farmstead highly. Staff was excellent, food delicious, surroundings beautiful.
Hope this helps.

We had been there before and stopped by for dinner our last trip. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing dinner. Three of the burgers were cooked wrong, the burgers had some type of relish, that we were not told about, that hid the flavor of the meat.

We were unexpectedly early for our reservation (45 minutes) and were told that we could eat inside if we waited for our time, or sit at an outside table. It was a very hot day (hit 100!) but had cooled off some, thankfully. On the way to our outside table we passed at least 4 empty, set up tables, with several other empty tables on the way to the outside. Not sure what that was about, but all in all, a disappointing evening.

We may give it another chance since the last time we were there, the food was very good.

Everything about this place was adorable and delicious. I easily could have been entertained there for hours. The food was simple and so fresh. Everything was amazing but the cookies..... oh dear! To die for.
