Very friendly owner operated. The wines we tasted were very good, bought a bottle of their sparking wine as a gift and it was very much appreciated. . .very knowledgeable staff. We'll be going back!

I belong to local social group which had a large party at this place. First they did not really have enough room to accommodate everyone for a sit down catered dinner. Most of us were squished into a room that really on fit half that many people and the rest were seated on their deck (as an aside, the deck was old and looked liked it could fail if too many people had sat outside) Anyway, I can't criticize them for the food as that was catered but that's another issue. We had a live band (wonderful group) but there really wasn't enough room for that activity either My suggestion is to keep your visit here to smaller groups (6 - 8) for wine tasting and beer drinking and host your larger events elsewhere. Another issue was there was not enough parking for the large group I was with -- had to walk on gravel in high heels. On a positive note - they did have a very nice view of the vineyards

Talk about out of the way. Take 49 from Camino to Placerville, twisty, windy up hill and down...too bad it was raining and i had people in the back seat i didn't want car sick because this would be a fun road. Anyway GPS found them the first time. Setting is in the middle of a vineyard on rolling hills. View was spectacular. We had the wheat beer. It was okay, not bad, not great but defiantly drinkable. As i was DD i couldn't do a full flight sampler so restricted myself to a taste here and there. Our regret was that we didn't bring sandwiches to eat out on the deck overlooking the vineyards. For the adventurous, there is a picnic area down in the vineyard which is about a half mile walk on dirt roads. Nice walk. Staff was friendly enough. For this trip it was our favorite for ambiance and atmosphere. Would hit 'em again.

Loved their wine. Purchased a case to have shipped home. We visited many wineries in the area and this was our favorite.
