This is the place for a great breakfast. Open seven days a week. From oatmeal to creative egg dishes. I've had them both. All excellent. The only challenge with this restaurant is that many people know how good it is and there's always a long line to get a table.

Pancakes and the eggs were excellent but crème de la crème was those delicious Belgian waffles! Russell's has been around since 1930 and I can easily see why, excellent service and good food!

Bit more in price than your fast food joints but if you're indulgent it doesn't matter, especially great when you want to take your family to a day in Hollywood and want to get off to a good start with a big breakfast or a power lunch if you are in business. (I sat at a table next to a retired couple who were speaking with their stock broker). If another convention in Pasadena that peaks my interest comes along, I will definitely visit Russell's again!

Russels is the best place for breakfast in this area. The also serve lunch and dinner, but I have yet to try those items, but will add to this review when I do. The service is very attentive, but you will be a bit rushed as they want to turn the tables over for the people waiting. Yes they are quite busy for breakfast.

Had breakfast at Russell's and it didn't disappoint! I had the Croquet with an egg on top, it was really great! I would get this again. The hash browns were perfectly cooked, crispy outside, light and soft inside! The restaurant isn't very big so you'll probably have to wait, we waited 40 mins but it was worth it! Also, nice decor with copies of famous artwork and good French roast coffee! Totally worth going!

After several years, I was finally here without a line waiting to get in. The breakfast was fine; the hash browns were appropriately crispy on the outside. The scrambled eggs were good, not dry. This place's claim to fame is the decor: chandeliers, copies of fine art, sweet decor. Bathroom also done-up and clean. A good place for breakfast.
