Had breakfast at Russell's and it didn't disappoint! I had the Croquet with an egg on top, it was really great! I would get this again. The hash browns were perfectly cooked, crispy outside, light and soft inside! The restaurant isn't very big so you'll probably have to wait, we waited 40 mins but it was worth it! Also, nice decor with copies of famous artwork and good French roast coffee! Totally worth going!

After several years, I was finally here without a line waiting to get in. The breakfast was fine; the hash browns were appropriately crispy on the outside. The scrambled eggs were good, not dry. This place's claim to fame is the decor: chandeliers, copies of fine art, sweet decor. Bathroom also done-up and clean. A good place for breakfast.

Stopped at Russell's for lunch. We arrived around 11:30 AM and had a very short wait to be seated. The restaurant's decor is very nicely done in a traditional style. Housekeeping was spotless! The staff was pleasant and attentive without hovering. We had the Reuben sandwich - very tasty. The coffee was especially good; wonderful aroma and rich flavor without any bitterness. Parking in the area can be a little sketchy, but that's typical for downtown Pasadena. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

Always saw a line out the door at this place, so my daughter and I decided to hit it first thing in the morning. I had a scramble which was AMAZING. Absolutely delicious. Hash browns were pretty good too, brown and crispy on the outside, potatoey on the inside. Daughter had the biscuits and gravy. Biscuits were right out of the oven and really, really tasty. Gravy was marginal, and not enough of it.
Service was excellent.
Price was excellent.

Service is prompt and courteous. Food was delicious, very high quality, fresh and quick! I had a, French toast combo with egg whites and bacon. It was perfect. Definitely recommend this Pasadena institution.
