From the minute you enter Santiago until the sad day you have to leave you will have not a care in the world . Everything will be taken care of by the delightful manager Kent and his hard working team :Nigel , Ryan ,Jonathan ,Bob ,Greg and the rest of the crew work to ensure you can concentrate on your A game of rest and relaxation .

Set at the base of the San Jacinto mountains the location of the resort is breathtaking . The gardens , complete with resident hummingbird family are impeccably tended and the hidden speakers in the garden delight the senses
with the soundtrack to your vacation without ever being intrusive . Watching the
Sun disappear behind the towering mountains at the end of the day from the pool deck is a delightful ritual and it's well worth setting the alarm at least once to welcome the dawn . Then there are the starry starry nights best seen while floating around that delightful and very large pool.

There is a real sense of camaraderie amongst the guests while at the same time
respect for privacy and solitude if required . This was my fourth stay at Santiago in the last three years and well worth the fourteen hour flight from Australia. I have made friends for life with
many of the fellow guests I have shared the beautiful facilities with .

It was great to see many of the guests embracing the clothing optional option , many for the first time . This is a safe and non judgmental space for all ,where one is able to feel free and respected.

For those like myself the dispensary is within walking distance and there is a dedicated smoking area set in the garden where many a laugh and engaging conversations were had . Perfect for the
Solo traveler like myself and ideal for couples , romantic or friends Santiago
Invites you to put your cares on hold and
just chill .

Santiago just keeps getting better every time I visit . Unreservedly recommended!
If only I could bring my pet Kangaroo next
time . Big thumbs up to Santiago!

Visited for the first time and I’ll definitely come back. Came with a bunch of friends for a weekend getaway from LA and was so happy to find a spot focused on catering to the boys! Kent and his team are awesome in that they’ll make sure you have everything you need, including detailed insights into whatever food cravings strike you. And of course, lounging around a pool full of eye candy didn’t hurt anything either. Made some great new friends ;)

I’ve stayed in numerous places in Palm Springs, but Santiago is a new favorite. From the warm welcome extended by Ryan at the front desk and seconded by the hotel’s manager, Kent, all the way through tastefully appointed rooms, manicured grounds, and well-stocked cantina and right up through checkout, the catalog of small, significant, and superbly managed details doesn’t disappoint.

Admittedly, I’m a hotel snob. I’ve stayed in some of the best hotels and resorts in the world and have ridiculously high standards. I have also never been a fan of gay “resorts” because all too often they are barely disguised former motor lodges offering an all-gay experience for which they charge a Four Seasons premium.

Santiago is a cut above the rest and feels like a high-end, exceptionally executed resort - that just happens to cater to gay clientele, some of whom prefer to enjoy the pool at natural. It should be at the top of any list of accommodations being considered for a stay in Palm Springs.

The Santiago resort is nothing short of perfect. The wonderful staff are attentive but also friendly, and definitely made me feel more at home during my stay. Breakfast and lunch provided complimentary made everything so simple, and I didn’t have to worry about a thing! Lovely gardens and pool area, with a very relaxed and chill feel throughout. An absolute must for a gay vacation getaway! I would highly recommend it.

I spent 2 nights at Santiago in late May as I had never visited Palm Springs. Everything about Santiago is great. Apart from the freedom to be clothing optional,.. room was clean & tidy room.. Fantastic sunny pool and spa area open 24/7... Snack bar, breakfast and lunch is all included which is a great bonus. The staff (especially Kent) are also very attentive and helpful. Highly recommended!

Room Tip: All rooms are fairly similar in terms of size, closeness to pool, etc
