The food and wine list exceptional as is the extensive beers on draft. They are constantly upgrading and changing the menu. We drive 50 miles to eat here!

I had heard only the greatest comments on this restaurant in Orland. Made the trip from Paradise and will do it again soon. We all had the New York steak cooked to perfection. Our friends had the Mud Pie for dessert and you would need to see it to believe it. We're the Creme Brulee afficiando and it was so good we weren't tempted. Our friends insisted we have some anyway. Hard decisions next time.

The big surprise was how reasonably priced this great place is. Worth the trip!

Farwood is always our first choice for dinner out! Food and staff are both great!I They are happy to offer a taste if you are not sure about a wine or beer. Desserts are delicious too!

Lunch is our favorite at The Farwood. They open at 11am and that is the best time to go to avoid the crowds on any given day of the week. The soups are homemade and they use local produce, meats, and cheeses. Attentive service!

The food was nicely presented and delicious. The waitress was friendly and very informative. She provided samples prior to our ordering to ensure we would be happy with our choice.
