Beautiful scenery along paved or dirt trails- your choice!

Lots of animals around too - from turkeys to turtles! You can even ride your horse along the trails.

This is a great place for both hiking and learning!

We stopped by to go exploring for a couple of hours and really enjoyed Sycamore Grove.

Plenty of nice picnic areas, benches, and guest areas.

They have some good learning opportunities at the Native Garden, with information about the local flora and fauna.

From there, the hikes are quite nice for the area. We were able to enjoy a plethora of wild life including deer, quail, turkeys, woodpeckers, and more.

The spring flowers are lovely to see.

Parking is a reasonable $7,which we are happy to pay to support the park.

We usually take the kiddo here for scooter riding, while we get a nice workout chasing him. This Sunday we decided to do Easter picnic lunch & egg hunt with friends and family. The kids loved hunting for eggs in the short grass by the picnic benches. We set us the picnic right by the entrance of the trail under a shady patch. 4-5 hours of pure bliss in wonderful weather. The paved walkways allowed my 66 year old parents to enjoy a nature walk, which other wise is not possible due to weak knees.
The restrooms are right by the parking lot and there are several trash bins to keep you light and trash free all day long.

A paved walkway allows for bikes and wheel chairs so everyone can experience the beauty and fragrance of sycamore trees.

Absolutely great place for a walk / hike. Since my hamstring was bothering me - Sycamore was just the ticket - no hills. Also the bathroom was spotless and well appointed. There is a cost for parking so we went with a resident who had a pass for the windshield.
