beautiful views! located on a cliff, no railings! see the hang-gliders peacefully soar in the sunlight, over the ocean! just beautiful!

It was an amazing experience for our 8 and 10 years olds. Both felt safe and had fun paragliding. The instructors were knowledgeable and helpful. We will be back for more next year!

We went one day for lunch. It was excellent. We discovered there is a path and stairs down to Black’s Beach. 264 stairs to be exact with a bit of path in between. When we got down we walked along the beach. It was fabulous. Quiet and clean. We walked one way to La Jolla Shores (where the pier is) and another time to Torre Pines beach. The tide was low both times. It was a wonderful walk.

But...there are a lot of men walking around with unwrapped packages for all to see. Of course I checked them out. Why not they were flopping around in the wind. Haha. And a few women too.

There's plenty of free parking. It's just a few minutes from Interstate-5. If you want a nude beach; the north area of the beach below the flight area is the nude beach section. It's natural to have families and couples there.

I've visited a few times and flown once. If you're planning to fly, call ahead of time to ensure the wind conditions are favorable. Its a lovely place to grab a bit, enjoy the views and watch some amazing pilots.
