A little smelly but worth the trip to watch these creatures and their babies! You can even get closer to take some great photos.

We spent the afternoon at La Jolla Cove and the scenery is breathtaking! Watching the seals up close and personal was a once in a lifetime experience.

The La Jolla Cove is part of the beautiful California coastline and can be accessed by going into La Jolla and parking along the roadway along the way. It is fun, especially for kids, to walk down the rugged cliff areas and to explore the tidal pools that form in the cracks and fissures. Wear sensible shoes for this. Parking is available but difficult on weekends when the traffic increases.

Nothing like walking right up to sunbathing seals, a great experience. Also, kayaking in caves & having seals swim next to you is a fun San Diego afternoon. The guides wonderful.

Spent an afternoon here on a family vacation. LOVED watching the seals and sea lions!! You can get close, but no touching. Did not take the kayak tour, but will next time!
