On our way to Cambria and Paso Robles wine country, we stopped in King City for lunch. Saw the The Cork And Plough. Thought it sounded good, and it was. First the soup was delicious and hot. Hate when it's cold. Had a grapefruit and sage soda, very refreshing. Had the sausage sandwich with fries, that came with homemade catsup. Excellent. A real find! Try it.

If you want something other than Mexican or Fast food, eat at the Cork and Plough!!
The food here is really good! A little on the expensive side, but, it's worth it for a very nice meal.

The spinich was picked today - and is a very nice salad. The service was very quick ... absolute with thoughts and suggestions to eat. Food was quickly served, was well prepared and fairly priced. We Georgia people enjoyed the meal and wish the Cork & Plough was closer. We would be frequent eaters!!

Surprising find in a small town like King City. Very tasty and interesting menu items. I had bbq salmon with red cabbage slaw and what seemed to be homemade pickles. Very tasty. Recommend the slight detour off of highway 101!

At first we felt really welcome, service was pretty slow as the bar tender was busy with the locals. We had food ...... the “fresh bread” was really hard and not so fresh the oil and balsamic that came with was not enough so we asked for more and the second lot of oil was terrible. My main was nice for the price my other half’s not so much was really bland, not what he expected.
