We stumbled upon Wellington Cellars as our dog “sitter” likes Malbec and they had an advertisement in the Sonoma County magazine highlighting their Malbec. When we ventured there, we found a very nice selection of Old Vine Zin and very solid Chardonnay (and of course Malbec). Jared took great care of us and we left as wine club members. I recommend a visit (and to VJB their “owner” vineyard.

Mark,

Our Malbec is award winning and constantly an employee and guest favorite! With the weather heating up, a nice chilled glass of our Chardonnay should help keep you cool!

We hope to see you back here soon enjoying your Wine Club benefits!

Cheers,
Henry Belmonte

Wellington Cellars was a real find on a recent Anniversary trip to Sonoma County. My husband and I had started at VJB for a tasting and snack. It was recommended by our tasting room hostess to visit their sister winery, just 2 miles down the road. The setting is lovely, lots of old vines growing on the property and around the tasting room. It's a small, boutique style winery producing small cases of some of the best wine we tasted during our Sonoma visit. Just love these delicious wines, we had to join the wine club to continue our relationship with these folks. There is a cute event barn as well as the tasting room, along with the winemaking facilities in the back. Take the time to visit, you will not be disappointed!

Hi There,

Thank you for reviewing our small winery and Welcome to the family! One of the reasons my parents and I fell in love with this property was the Ancient Vine Zins! Our barn and tasting room will be going through some major renovations, so you will have to come back soon to see what we have done!

We hope to see you here again soon!

We haven't been to the Sonoma Valley wine tasting for almost 14 years but had good memories of Wellington that brought us back. We brought a couple with us who had never been to the Valley. We stopped at a total of 6 wineries (one of which we are members of) and Wellington was absolutely the best. We are now members and can't wait for our first shipment. Matt, the tasting room manager and his crew made the experience very memorable and we look forward to heading back. If you only have time for one winery in the Sonoma Valley, Wellington is where I would tell you to go
