the only plus is that it is close to Yosemite. Was very hot when we arrived only to find the AC was not working and neither were the ice machines! The desk did send maintenance down and they replaced the whole unit. Every room should be checked to be sure no more rooms have this issue. But I'm sure they only replace when called to do so. Stayed 3 nights and each night had to walk to the office for ice. They had a "grill", lounge and dining room. Tried the dining room and ordered Ahi tuna which came out way over cooked and stuck together. Awful! The gap under the door and jam was so large a mouse could have walked in with no problem. Worst place ever and was the most expensive, Check down the road for other accommodations.

Our room was just what we needed and very clean. We chose this because it was affordable and only about a 15 minute drive from the park. It should be noted that you will not have service or wifi-however this did not bother us because we were there to enjoy the park and company.

Since there aren’t many options near Yosemite, we opted to stay here. The rooms look like they haven’t been updated in 40+ years. The bed was absolutely terrible - it squeaked just sitting on it or rolling over, it was so uncomfortable and the pillows were a joke. The room and bathroom were both big but that’s about the only perk.

We did eat at the grill one night and it was decent food for the price. The restaurant was too over-priced. The breakfast buffet is ridiculous at $17/person - I’d recommend stopping at the gas station inside Yosemite for a burrito for $5 instead.

Basic, close to Yosemite. Was a little disappointed with what we got for the price. Room was big, but housekeeping was not good. Bathroom was not cleaned well, and the sheets on our sofa sleeper were very dirty. Didn't have enough towels or toilet paper for us....had to ask for both. When they brought us clean sheets, didn't offer to make the bed, or even take the dirty sheets from us. Ate at restaurant for supper because it was the only thing around there. Unfriendly staff, dirty tables, and it was over $12 for a bad chicken sandwich or strips with fries.

We chose Cedar Lodge because we were looking for a place that was fairly close to Yosemite without the prices that go along with staying in Yosemite Valley. Hotel is about 35 minutes from Yosemite Valley. Our room with two queen beds was clean and it appeared that the bathroom had been recently upgraded. Breakfast buffet was only average, especially for the price.
