Somehow i feel like there is more to this place. Like nightly singing or ? But atlas, we were there for a cup of joe. Pastries were pricey so i didn't end up buying anything to take home. I worried a bit about where the pastries were and how customers can leave the glass doors open for flies to get in. The staff can't see or seem to monitor that.

Starbucks are hard to come by in this neck of the woods. They offer all the standard selections of cappuccinos, etc.

Out and about on my own and hungry. Got a slice of pizza, served cold?, and a strawberry scone. Now the pizza wasn't anything to write home about but the scone was sure good. When there is a line there should be more counter help! Cape Fear is good but did not need nor want a $15 lunch. So stop for pastry and sit out back on the deck.

We stopped here for coffee and a snack. All the action seems to be on the other side of the street but the locals said to come to the other side of the street. We are so glad we did. It is a quaint little shop with lots of bakery choices and half off day-old pastries as well. You can eat inside or outside on the large back deck. We sat out there and the only negative was the birds could become a little pesky. But the view of the mountainside is beautiful.

Not cheap but definitely the best butter horns I've ever had. I always buy extra to take home. Rustic old wood building.
