This was the first sushi bar I ever went to many years ago, and I no longer live in the area. I have come to this restaurant several times over the last few months for client and personal lunches and dinners. The fish is always top quality and there are always specials on the menu. Yes there are creative rolls for those that want them, but what this restaurant is known for is the freshness and quality of traditional Japanese sushi and other foods. The place is small so either get a reservation or get there early. The prices are very reasonable for what you get too.
