Owner description: Once a working berry farm, this popular theme park is now home to GhostRider, the world's best wooden roller coaster; Supreme Scream, a ride where participants are hoisted up 30-stories and dropped down in three seconds; the Xcelerator, rated the world's best launch coaster and Camp Snoopy, home to the beloved Peanuts gang.

Knott's is the one of the Oldest theme park in the country with a lot of history and cool things to do and see in in the fairly small space that they occupy.

There are adult (Bigger kid) roller coasters in comparison to the Mouse house and a smaller section deticated to younger children but realistically the whole park can be seen in a day.

If you are looking for a big thrill there is a the new ride Hangtime which is a roller coaster with all the flips and twists you would expect from a heart pounding roller coaster. Then there are the Silver Bullet, Excelerator, Sidewinder and my personal favorite GHOST RIDER... DON'T miss it.

There is some nostalgia in Montezuma's Revenge but it doesn't compare to the newer rides.

If you live close this Annual pass is the best bargain in town!

Our experience with one-day tickets at the main KBF follows. Note that other ticket options are season, multi-day or multi-park (adding Soak City for example) or tie-ins with hotels or other sources.
During the June 2018 visit with our 6 1/2 y/o g'son, we bought tickets online @ $49 compared to the $82 "walk up" price. When we got there we found other pricing options at the gate: juniors (11 and below) and seniors (62 and up) @ $52. These are, of course, substantially lower prices than one-day tickets at MouseLand a few miles away!
Pro tip: schedule to arrive 30-45 minutes before the 10 am opening time. Parking is much easier and when you're allowed to enter, lines are very short - in our experience, it took 2-3 hours before the crowds built up significantly. <All-day parking BTW is $19>.
Due to our g'son's height, he wasn't tall enough to ride the bigger faster thrill rides but there were still plenty of excellent rides available, mostly in the Camp Snoopy area; he rode 12-15 (we lost count) and all the rides were well-engineered and beautifully maintained. The staff people we encountered were courteous and friendly, lending a very family- and kid-friendly atmosphere. A concise summary: more kid-geared rides than Mouseland, greatly reduced costs, crowds not a significant issue, "waiting in line" not a problem - aided by our showing up early! All in all, we had a terrific time and in addition, had a terrific chicken dinner at their renowned fried chicken restaurant!

We are die hard Disney fans, but I have been coming to Knotts for over 50 years. We are on the 4th generation and my 9 &13yr granddaughters absolutely love it. We spent 3 days (we have season passes) and they each have their favorites. Ghost town Live is interactive like when I was a kid. New Hangtime coaster is a huge hit and must be ridden both day and night for different experience. Ghost rider is always the first and last ride of each day.

A fun place to take the kids when you're a season pass holder and not wanting to spend too much money. We went this past Saturday and had a good time. The kids had a blast and we spent less than $60 for the day. The Season Pass is the way to go!
