We had booked and prepaid a B&B at teh very end of the Penninsula as we expected a beautiful remote location. Once we saw the place we quickly changed our minds and headed back to find a place for the night. We saw the Inver Lodge sign and turned in a nd the fortunatleu had on room left, £199 with breakfast.
It was a bargain.
This is a beautiful and luxurious five star British country hotel and is as good as it gets. The view from the room was breathtaking. The room was extremely well appointed and wonderfully comfortable. Gorgeous bathroom with soaking tub sand rain shower. Sublimely comfortable bed. Comfortable, welcoming public areas. Simply outstanding breakfast - the best we've had so far in nine days touring.
For dinner they only offered a three course prix fixe menu and we weren't looking for that. I wish they had an ala carte menu because I'll be the food is excellent.More
