My husband and I stayed now in the middle of May 2007at Pension Ligeia, in the old town, - Psaromachalas, many of the fishermen lived around here - that is how it got this name. Ligeia is a small pension, the rooms are in two different houses, beside the Parking place by the lift up to Akronafplia.
We had a doubleroom in the house lower in the 'street' than the main house with the reception. Nice little bathroom with shower. Wonderful colours, televison and a small fridge in the room - and a nice little balcony, from where we could see the bay. There was a room they called kitchen for common use - it had a sink for washing up, cups, plates and cutlery - and an electric boiler for water (don't remember the name of it - I am a Norwegian :-)
Enough for us - we just made some breakfast, because it was a bit far to go to get some food.

Above all - the people who run it are very, very sweet! - and it was cheap, 45€ on weekdays, 60 on Sunday - I also believe that was the price on a Saturd. I think it will be a little higher prices in the Summer of course.
I would very much like to go back there.
