A trap, not a resort. Only way there is by boat. And there is nothing to see. One bar, no table service. A monopoly, take it or leave it. Toilets consist of one male, one female cubicle, and therefore a long queue. A long wait for the boat back, so take a book to read. Better still, don't go

We are sorry but probably you mention another hotel.We are located in Southen Crete and access in by car from a smooth country road with asphalt .We never receieve comments like this
For once, I'll start with the only negative of this resort, according to me: the bathroom is ridiculously small as compared to the size of the 2-BR apartment we stayed in (WC in the bathroom). Bad architect plan ;-)
Otherwise, all was excellent:
- brilliant advice given at the reception, esp about nearby beaches (Skirina, Prevelli, Triopetra) and mountain area (Amari valley)
- the best stretch of the long Plakias beach, with complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas is only 20 m away
- access on foot to many restaurants and shops/supermarkets
- three pools of various depths are well sheltered from the wind
- large kitchen (but not enough kitchenware)
- large terrace with side view on the sea, a big table for meals and a sofa to relax
- 3 sets of a/c
- large bedrooms
Staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately everything was geared up for the German market i.e. Information book, tv instructions and tv channels and using the safe. The rooms were clean and comfortable with plenty of room. Location could have been better.
Great villa! Very clean. We had booked a 3 bedroom villa with private pool and it was much better than we were expecting.Very comfy and cosy. Pool was cleaned every day. The bedroom on the ground floor had also a probate bath. Highly recommended
The resort is lovely, yes there is building work happening next door 7am till 2 but the windows are triple glazed so you can shut out the small amount of noise. The team will do their best to accommodate you if they can. It's such a lovely place it has everything you need, lots of gorgeous beaches near by and lovely restaurants, what more could you ask for.
I can't rate the staff highly enough, the cleaners are amazing and lots of fresh towels inc for the pool.
Each time I say we should try somewhere new but I've a feeling we will be back again. Thank you Plakias resorts for another wonderful holiday.
