We had a wonderful week at this gorgeous hotel. Our room was enormous with breathtaking views of the mountains. It was kept spotlessly clean. The fridge was very handy, we filled bottles with the lovely fresh tap water. Staff were really friendly, efficient and always smiling. It’s a family run hotel and members of the Seelos family were always around chatting to guests, adding to the lovely warm atmosphere. The pool area is beautiful and was never busy. The position of the hotel just on the edge of the village means it is very peaceful, with no traffic noise. The food is really special, so very tasty and well presented. We traveled with Tui and the service was great, our reps Lauren and Kurt were excellent and accompanied all the trips, which were excellent value for money. There are lots of walks from Seefeld and plenty to do, the lake is so pretty.
Public transport is very easy, the train to Innsbruck takes half an hour. I can definitely recommend this hotel and resort. The most picturesque place I’ve visited so far.

Our 2 weeks at the Hockland were wonderful.
Our room was beautifully refurbished, with a lounge area and huge TV, settee and chairs, plus drawer space and a bedroom area with another large TV, wardrobe and large comfy bed (2 single mattresses together). The bathroom with toilet and washbasin had plenty of storage space and there was a separate wet room with rainfall shower (and handheld) ...both with glass doors.
There was a fridge, which you could have filled with your choice of drinks or just buy from the nearby Spar supermarket. Also there was a free safe which was big enough for an IPad plus other items. (The single room did not have a fridge).
The balcony was large with a table, two chairs and two deckchairs.
On both TVs you could get several English channels including BBC and ITV. There was no tea and coffee making in the room so you need your own kettle etc.
For a change, there were plenty of sockets in the room - even USB ports for the phones and iPads. The internet connection was good on the whole....it tended to drop out at different points in the room sometimes.

Pool towels and dressing gowns were also provided, so you could go down to the indoor pool without any hassle of changing when there. We did find the pool a little on the cool side and perhaps not suitable for young children as it was all one depth of 11/2 metres. The jacuzzi was very nice but could really only seat 4 people.

Breakfast consisted of - cereals, fruits, fruit juices, croissants, breads, cold meats, cheeses, fried, scrambled and soft boiled eggs and bacon. The worst thing was the toaster.....we had to unplug it and use metal tongs to get the bread out sometimes!
Evening meals were 5 courses except for Gala night and then there were 6! The presentation of certain dishes would have graced any "Master Chef" show! Drinks in the hotel were on the whole similar to the prices in town, except for the water at meal times which was €5 per litre bottle.

The rooms don't have air conditioning and we did find the room very hot overnight. We left a window open all the time, but that didn't seem to cool it down. The thick duvets didn't help either!
The rooms were quiet at night .....none of the slamming of doors and talking outside in the corridors at night like many holiday hotels.

It was the staff that turned this hotel from very good to excellent. All the staff were very friendly and efficient, but it was the restaurant staff that really stood out -especially Melica who was lovely and Stefan who went out of his way to ensure we had a wonderful dining experience. The Seelos family own the hotel and Mrs Seelos came round frequently to chat to her guests.

The hotel was a 5 minute walk down a grassy slope to a large Spar supermarket and the beginning of the pedestrianised area. Coming back after a long day out was slightly more challenging for us older ones!
The bus and train station were approximately a 10-15 minute walk.
The Rosshutte funicular and cable car were a 25-30 minute walk - the second half being uphill!

We couldn't fault our holiday here and highly recommend it. Thank you to all the staff that helped make it so good for us.

We had a week here in June. All the staff at the Hochland provided an exceptional standard of service. Food was of an excellent standard and very varied, the head chef really knows how to impress. Rooms were immaculate and we were lucky enough to stay in one of the newly refurbished rooms over looking the meadow. The hotel is located about a 10 minute walk into the town centre. We used the pool and the sauna area on several occasions and found it quite quiet even though the hotel was busy. It was rather nice to meet the owners during the evenings thought this was a nice touch. . It is difficult to single out any one member of staff but the young man on reception was very welcoming and helpful . We look forward to returning to the Hochland.

The hotel overlooks the village with wonderful views although it’s only 5 minutes to walk to the village centre. Very peaceful and relaxing. Room was very good size and well equipped. Had half board and the food is first class. All the staff most helpful and friendly. A lovely week.

All staff were extremely accommodating. Even to the point of reserving a car parking place to enable us to charge our electric hybrid car.
The Hotel has an excellent position overlooking mountains and the town in a slightly elevated position, but an easy 5 minute walk to the town centre.
The hotel and rooms are extremely clean even to Austrian standards and rooms are vacuumed every day.
Breakfast and Evening meals are good however the gala meal was a little disappointing.... I can't deduct a star for this. The dining room needs better ventilation / cooling when warm. Also tap water is NOT available at the table!
Cycles availability is included and eBikes are available for hire at better rates than in town.
Bar drinks are very reasonably priced.
We had a large double room approx 49m2 overlooking the town, the Gschwandkopf and Rosshutte. This came with a decent sized balcony. I would recommend this.
