We were there as a couple and had the prawns , and the espetada (rump). My wife who is quite the afficianado when it comes to prawns was very impressed and has marked the restaurant for a return visit. The espetada was great and again I was impressed. We finished off with the Lindt chocolate mousse and the creme caramel. Both were excellent. The service from Jasper and personal attention of Manuel were both excellent without being intrusive and the atmosphere was equally good. Without a doubt one has to book to get a table as it is extremely popular and I can see why.

Birthday celebration with my children and to Mannie and his staff, thank you! Genuine, flavoursome Portuguese fare, all prepared perfectly. Understandable why this establishment has been operating for so many years and the fact that the restaurant was packed is an indication of its hospitality and adhering to their traditions. Just perfect!

Delicious food, good wine selection, Portuguese beer and a pleasing ambience.

A true taste of what we as South Africans know as Portuguese cuisine. Excellent Milo Frito. Brilliantly flavoured foods. Service, friendly and efficient. We always look forward to our next visit.

Better to book in advance to avoid disappointment. We were lucky and found space on a Sunday lunch. Food is good and prices are OK, similar to other Portuguese restaurants.
