Beautiful restaurant, excellent food and portions, service was impeccable couldn't fault it. It was night time so couldn't see the surroundings very well but the restaurant was very quaint with lots of individual rooms so very private.

My husband and I came here for a breakfast drive after seeing the reviews on this site and although it took about 50 minutes from Sandton, the breakfasts were delicious and it was a lovely setting under the trees.
Probably best to fit it into a day trip out and visit the nearby cheese or strawberry farms nearby too.

We were a party of 21, including 5 very busy toddlers for lunch. Understandably the food took quite a while to get done but was absolutely worth while waiting for. The waiters looked after us with care and the table was set with special detail to the fact that it was my mom’s birthday. A lovely experience!

My first visit to this Guest House was a great experience of being out in the country.
We booked for lunch and the food, although a little pricey, was superb and well served.
We sat out in the garden under an umbrella of trees and the highlight of course was listening to James Grace. Unbelievably great classical guitarist. Will definitely go back perhaps for an overnight stay.

We stayed over at Die Ou Pastorie after enjoying the music of Dan Patlanski under the trees for while enjoying lunch, it is such a beautiful place. The ambience is just as good as the food! We even decided to have dinner there after such a great experience. At night you can hear the frogs croaking in the ponds and it is just beautiful. The room we stayed is was wonderful, clean, neat and had everything you needed for an overnight stay even a great view!
