The museum is lovely and offers a great history of the area. The exhibits are interesting and the curators are really friendly and willing to answer any questions. A great stop in this little town

Was pleasantly surprised by the amount of material in this bay-side village museum. Has variously themed rooms around which the material is organized. It can be a quick visit or a serious study depending on your preference. In a historic building dating back to 1777. Parking on site. Has a small gift/souvenir shop.
This museum shows you everything regarding the navy and much much more. Very informative! Easy to get lost in all the history and beautiful displays. I recommend this to be one of your stops when in Simon's Town.
When planning a cape peninsula drive, one interesting place to stop by is Simon’s Town and its museum. The museum is very well curated and the displays and exhibit pieces are well maintained and in mint condition. The various setups are also very educational and highly informative. The trivia is also very cogitating. My favorite display is that of Just Nuisance! Definitely one of the best museum trips you can make in the area. Just make sure to get their schedule right.
If you love penguins you must go see this beach. Its a sight you will never forget. Its a very quick walk in an out on a boardwalk but its totally worth it
The visit is simple but gorgeous with the visit of the penguins...you can get very close to them....
